The Z Series is a compact line array speaker specifically designed for vertical line array applications. Featuring a passive two/three-way design, its precise geometry combined with an advanced bass-reflex port design extends low-frequency output, achieving full-range capability. These high-performance line array modules provide 80° horizontal directivity control, with control extending down to 500 Hz. Mechanically and acoustically, up to twenty-four speaker units can be combined into a vertical line array for suspension, with a vertical splay angle adjustable from 0° to 14° in 1° increments. Within a single line array, all Z-208 speakers (or Z-118SUB subwoofers) can be used in combination. The speaker enclosure is constructed from marine-grade plywood and coated with impact-resistant and weatherproof PCP (polyurea cabinet protection). The front of the enclosure is protected by a rigid metal grille, backed by acoustically transparent foam. Each side panel is equipped with a handle, while the rear of the enclosure features two additional hidden handles. The cabinet also integrates a three-point suspension system.
