The S Audio S10 two-way line array system boasts a sleek, slender appearance, but its internal configuration is anything but simple. Equipped with dual 4" neodymium planar wave drivers for high frequencies and four 5" ultra-low distortion cone drivers, it delivers a rated power of 700 W. The S10 is also highly adaptable: in complex acoustic environments, it can adjust its horizontal and asymmetric coverage angles to eliminate unwanted reflections, ensuring optimal speech intelligibility.
When it comes to coverage, the S10 performs even better. Paired with the SW-215B, two S-10 units can be combined to form the S10 Twin for larger events, maintaining a consistent 24° vertical coverage without any interference between enclosures. The horizontal coverage angle is also adjustable—120° for near-field projection or 60° for far-field projection. This setup increases system output by 6 dB, tightens vertical control in the low-end frequency range, and further enhances overall system performance.
